Set the parameters for Anywhere for logistics. These parameters define, for example, how the Anywhere for logistics app handles receipts, transfer journals, and picking.

Click Mobility management. 2. Click App Parameters. 3. Click the Logistics tab and in the Receipt section, define the parameters that define how to receive items. 4. Select Yes in the Sum received quantities field. 5. Select Yes in the Update location field. 6. For a purchase order line, you can allow to register product receipts. As a result, the products are marked as Registered. If set to No, you cannot register product receipts during the receipt process and you directly receive the products at the end of the Purchase receipt process. Select Yes in the Register field. Note: This option is only applicable to the ‘Purchase Receipt’ process. 7. In the Batch expiration type field, select an option. 8. In the Receipt unit field, select an option. 9. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 10. Select Yes in the Allow receipts if no expiration date field. 11. Select Yes in the Get batch number from GS1-128 barcode field. 12. Select Yes in the Get serial number from GS1-128 barcode field. 13. Select Yes in the Enter expiry date field. 14. Select Yes in the Allow override batch field. 15. Select Yes in the Enter vendor batch id field. 16. You can allow to enter the vendor expiry date and the vendor manufacturing date. If Yes, these fields are shown on the same form as the Vendor batch ID field: - Vendor expiry date - Use as expiry date - Vendor manufacturing date - Use as manufacturing date This only applies to items for which the Purchase registration parameter on the item model group is set to Yes. Select Yes in the Enter vendor batch dates field. Note: This parameter is only available if the Enter vendor batch ID parameter is set to Yes. 17. Define the default value for the Use as manufacturing date field in the app. Select Yes in the Use as manufacturing date field. Note: This parameter is only available if the Enter vendor batch dates parameter is set to Yes. 18. Define the default value for the Use as expiry date field in the app. Select Yes in the Use as expiry date field. Note: This parameter is only available if the Enter vendor batch dates parameter is set to Yes. 19. In the Name field, enter or select a value. 20. Select Yes in the Get batch number from GS1-128 barcode field. 21. Select Yes in the Get serial number from GS1-128 barcode field. 22. Select Yes in the Post packing slip replacement item field. 23. Close the page. Click Mobility management. 2. Click App Parameters. 3. Click the Logistics tab. 4. Expand the Transfer journal receipt section. 5. In the Transfer journal name field, enter or select a value. 6. Select Yes in the Prefill quantity field. 7. Select Yes in the Lock journal field. 8. Select Yes in the Get batch number from GS1-128 barcode field. 9. Select Yes in the Get serial number from GS1-128 barcode field. 10. Close the page. Click Mobility management. 2. Click App Parameters. 3. Click the Logistics tab. 4. Expand the Transfer journal picking section. 5. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 6. Select the direct transfer journal name to be used to transfer items directly. In the Direct transfers journal name field, enter or select a value. Note: If no journal name is selected, the first journal name of type Transfer, as defined on the Inventory journal names page, is used. 7. Select Yes in the Get batch Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 8. Select Yes in the Get serial Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 9. Close the page. Set parameters for picking process Set parameters for picking process Set the parameters that define how to pick items with the Anywhere for logistics app. Procedure 1. Click Mobility management. 2. Click App Parameters. 3. Click the Logistics tab. 4. Expand the Picking section. 5. Select Yes in the Scan location field. 6. Select Yes in the Scan item field. 7. Select Yes in the Scan batch field. 8. Select Yes in the Scan pick bin field. 9. In the Picked quantity check field, select an option. 10. Select Yes in the Reserve picking list when selected field. 11. In the Picking unit field, select an option. 12. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 13. Select Yes in the Enter note field. 14. In the Note type field, enter or select a value. 15. Select Yes in the Change delivery mode field. 16. Select Yes in the Prefill picked quantity field. 17. You can allow to update the sort codes on the picking list. Select Yes in the Use sort codes field. Note: This can influence the routing of the picking list. 18. Define the printer type to print packing slips in the 'Picking' process. In the Packing slip printer type field, enter or select a value. Note: A packing slip is only printed: - If a default printer is set up for the defined printer type, with the applicable warehouse and user defined for the default printer. - If a printer type is defined in this field. 19. Select Yes in the Get batch number from GS1-128 barcode field. 20. Select Yes in the Get serial number from GS1-128 barcode field. 21. Select Yes in the Ship automatically field. 22. Select Yes in the Sales orders field. 23. Select Yes in the Transfer orders field. 24. You can have the packing slip generated automatically after picking is completed. Select Yes in the Deliver automatically field. Note: The packing slip is not printed if this field is set to 'Yes'. 25. You can require to scan the serial number of each picked item separately. The number of not-scanned serial numbers is cancelled. Example: According to the picking list. you must pick 10 pieces of an item. For each piece, the serial number must be scanned. You only scan 8 serial numbers. The 2 remaining pieces are cancelled. As a result, a separate form is shown in the picking process where you can scan the serial numbers. Select Yes in the Register serials for sales process field. Note: Posting of a packing slip without providing the required number of serial numbers is not allowed. Therefore, the combination of these parameters does not make sense: - Deliver automatically = Yes - Register serials for sales process = No If you use this parameter setup combination, the packing slip is not posted automatically. 26. Close the page. Select the default counting journal name to be used in the Anywhere for logistics app processes. In the Counting journal name field, enter or select a value. Note: If no journal name is selected, the first journal name of type Counting, as defined on the Inventory journal names page, is used. 6. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 7. Select Yes in the Get batch Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 8. Select Yes in the Get serial Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 9. Select the default cycle counting journal name to be used in the Anywhere for logistics app processes. In the Cycle counting journal name field, enter or select a value. Note: If no journal name is selected, the first journal name of type Counting, as defined on the Inventory journal names page, is used. 10. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 11. Select Yes in the Use cycle counting deviation field. 12. In the Allowed cycle counting deviation (%) field, enter a number. 13. Select Yes in the Use cycle counting deviation for batches field. 14. Select Yes in the Get batch Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 15. Select Yes in the Get serial Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 16. Close the page. Note: If no journal name is selected, the first journal name of type Tag counting, as defined on the Inventory journal names page, is used. 6. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 7. Select Yes in the Scan Tag field. 8. Select Yes in the Get batch Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 9. Select Yes in the Get serial Id from GS1-128 barcode field. Select the default inventory adjustment journal name to be used in the Anywhere for logistics app processes. In the Inventory adjustment journal name field, enter or select a value. Note: If no journal name is selected, the first journal name of type Inventory adjustment, as defined on the Inventory journal names page, is used. 6. Select Yes in the Use GTIN unit field. 7. Select Yes in the Post inventory adjustment journal on finish field. 8. Select Yes in the Get batch Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 9. Select Yes in the Get serial Id from GS1-128 barcode field. 10. Close the page.
